Officially named and registered as Briar Cut by DCC, she has become known on our farm as Frances.  She is an absolute pistol and a real joy to have  around.  She is about as smart as they come and requires you to be on your A-game when working her.  She has a good memory and won't fall for  the same trick twice.  For this girl, the grass really is greener on the other side; she has been known to knock out a fence picket or two in order to kneel down and munch on the neighboring side.  Her horns are low and flat with a slight twist.  Though her horn growth has slowed,  she recently made it into the 80-Club; time will tell if she makes 90"!
