Welp, this fella was just delay after delay (or my Texas math just wasn't mathing). We were orginally expecting this calf in late fall, but for some reason, it just didn't happen.  That said, good things are worth the wait.  BUT then, when he was finally here, I couldn't come up with a good name to save my life.  So, while out on an airline trip dealing with all kinds of departure delays I came up with the perfect name (at least for a cow)...EDCT!  Realistically, it's an acrynom, that stands for Expect Departure Clearance Time...which in layman's terms means a delay.

Aside from all the aviation stuff, we're really liking this fella so far. He's putting on weight in all the right places and growing quickly.  He has some awesome marbling of colors in his face and under his white base is the basis for a lot of future spotting.  He's as friendly as can be and should be fun to take to show next year.
